I bought cloth diapers from a gal named Sun Pei at Sunbaby Diapers when Hank was around 9 months old. At $5 each they were a steal compared to other pocket style snap rise cloth diapers. They served us well and eventually I bought more to diaper both boys’ when Gideon arrived. When I got sick I found it difficult to do everything including keeping up with the wash so we strayed into disposables for several months. Recently, Hank potty trained so that put an end to diapers for him. Gideon is still wearing them though. The other day I thought this is silly to use disposables when we have 40 perfectly good cloth diapers!
At $40 a box for disposable diapers (around 200 diapers) and going through a box easily every two months it doesn’t take a ton of math to realize that using the cloth diapers saves a bunch of money. I like that!
So, here are some diaper shots because cloth is SO much cuter than sposies! 🙂 I like that too!
Dear Jesus, thank you for this boy. He is a complete delight. I must say he looks really cute in cloth diapers too. Thank you for good honest businesses like Sunbaby Diapers. Amen.
A couple frugal deals for the week:
For this week I found Rite Aid has 9oz. Dawn dish soap on sale for $0.97! Use your store card and the manufacturer coupon from the paper ($0.50 off one Dawn Hand Renewal) and you pay $0.47. That is great in my book. Albertson’s has Tillamook cheese on sale for $4.99 (regularly around $6) today through Sunday. This is good if you missed the Fred Meyer deal on Tillamook two weeks ago. 🙂 Happy couponing. I noticed the pickins were a little lean on deals this week. I hear that is normal this close to a holiday.
