Remember those huckleberries and blackberries we picked? Well, we made mini pies. Yum yum. All you do is make basic pie crust for another thing like say, pot pies. Then use the left over crust to make mini pies with a small cupcake tin. I filled the crust with whole berries and some pureed berries with added sugar. So yummy.
I like to fill my pot pies with whatever is on hand. I have lots of zucchini already so that made it in along with chicken and white sauce. I don’t have a specific recipe for them just whatever I have that sounds good together. This is good for variety too.
